"Take out another notebook, pick up another pen, and just write, just write, just write. In the middle of the world, make one positive step. In the center of chaos, make one definitive act.” -- Natalie Goldberg
Unstuck Yourself The Writing Compass is for anyone who wants to write, but keeps getting stuck. Track One is for you if you long to build a daily writing habit and would appreciate having a community to support and hold you accountable, as well as an opportunity to give and receive encouragement along the way.
Track Two is for you if you have a book you want to start, make considerable progress on, or complete, but have not been able to - yet.
Whether due to procrastination, self-doubt, fear, difficulties self-motivating or something else, both of these Tracks will support you in creating a consistent writing practice with a team and a structure that will help you get started and stay the course..
Write It Out The Writing Compass was designed to cultivate and support both internal and external direction and discipline. This program is for anyone longing to jump start or re-start writing, and who believes they might thrive in an environment with clear structure, set deadlines, and an intimate community of other writers to share accountability and feedback while creating a daily writing habit, discovering their unique voices, and achieving their personal writing goals.
Stick With It The Writing Compass offers a way to reconnect and resurrect the dormant storyteller inside of you through the written word. Whether you think you are a "writer" or not is irrelevant. What matters most is you have a story to tell and you are ready to start writing it. The idea for The Writing Compass was birthed out of our desire to support people in reconnecting with their innate creativity within a community setting which will also provide tools and practice to keep you writing long after the course is through.
